During the workshop, the DiverseVET project was presented in detail, outlining its vision for creating a national Centre of Vocational Excellence (Regio-DiverseVET CoVE) and its key objectives to connect inclusive vocational training with the demands of the green and digital transitions. This was followed by a highly constructive discussion with the participants, who were invited as active co-creators of the project to address key questions. The discussion focused on the practical obstacles faced by underrepresented groups in training and employment, the needs of VET providers in offering accessible programs, the challenges faced by Greek SMEs in adopting inclusive practices, as well as specific proposed actions to meaningfully support the national ecosystem.
The eMT Institute of Development continues to work intensively alongside its Greek and European partners, ensuring that initiatives for inclusive vocational education respond to the real needs of businesses and society.
