DiverseVET

Building inclusive skills across Europe

Launched in April 2026, DiverseVET is a European project working to make vocational education and training (VET) more inclusive, innovative and responsive to changing skills needs. Bringing together organisations from Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Lithuania and Belgium, the project connects vocational education providers, businesses and other stakeholders to create more inclusive learning and working environments.

Over the next four years, until 2030, DiverseVET will develop flexible training programmes, learning resources, career and mobility opportunities, and innovative learning approaches, with a focus on skills needed for the green and digital transitions. The project will also establish five regional Centres of Vocational Excellence to strengthen cooperation between education, business and local communities.

A particular focus is placed on removing barriers faced by underrepresented and underserved groups, including women, people with disabilities, migrants and refugees, while helping SMEs develop more inclusive approaches to skills, diversity and workforce development.
